A 29-year-old Anderson man was listed in serious but stable condition Monday at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis where he's recovering from a single gunshot to the chest, Anderson police said. Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying the person who shot him. The victim, who police have not identified, stepped outside his house in the 1500 block of Dewey Street about 10:40 p.m. Saturday to check on a small group of men who were congregating around his vehicle, said Maj.
